"Grammar" the Big Elephant in the Primary Classroom: Effective techniques, games and more!

 How do young learners acquire grammar understanding and accuracy? "With difficulty" is the common short answer. Gap-filling, multiple choice, word-order< exercises help students analyse and practice grammatical forms while grammar drills, dialogues, songs and games help them absorb the language without pausing for too long to analyse it.
